The vacant positions below are to be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Responsibilities:
Gives technical advice to Operating units on all electrical engineering matters
Carrying out audits and reviews at customer installations
Concept design of major electrical engineering elements of projects
Contributes to preparation of standards covering electrical engineering equipments
Performs electrical system studies using specialist external consultant
Your role includes developing expertise and leverage on best practises to ensure technically sound, cost effective engineering advice, and value add to all clients.
To establish working alliances with local Engineering Contractors in our engineering design work and all supporting services.
Gives lectures and training on own field of experience.

Requirements:
Must have Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines.
Advantageous if you have professional membership with IEEE, or other related areas.
Minimum 7 years working experience with good exposure in onshore refinery in the petrochemicals/ gas industry.
Your experience should include Maintenance, Operation & Design of Power Systems (up to 132 KV, preferably in the Petrochemicals and Gas industry or large industrial process plants)
If your current or previous positions includes Technical Authority/ decision making, it will be positively considered.
You must have strong knowledge in Generators & Motors ie Operations, Maintenance & Condition Monitoring.
You must have power system studies & protection knowledge. Able to provide advice and consultancy in hazardous area classifications & equipments.
Good understanding of codes calculations (ie IEC standards, Electrical DEP, etc)
Able to troubleshoot problems related to mechanical using RCA/ Tripod/ other methodologies.
Regional travelling is required
