This is an exceptional opportunity to join a world class and highly reputable provider in engineering design, procurement, construction and maintenance within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors. With their continued growth and successful expansion into the Asia Pacific regions, they seek dynamic and competent professional engineering candidates for this challenging new role to manage and lead their mechanical engineering equipment design team.

Responsibilities:
To be successful for this role, it is envisaged that you possess a Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years professional experience or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least 8 years professional experience. If you possess the relevant qualifications but are unable to fully satisfy the experience criteria, you may be considered for the Deputy Mechanical Manager role. Your experience would have seen you working in the Oil & Gas Industry with sound knowledge in rotating machinery service and repair. You should also be proficient in MS Excel and MS Word. Preference is for candidates who are willing to work here under local conditions.
Requirements:

As a Mechanical Manager, you will have seen yourself excel in planning, organizing, and managing a team of engineers, superintendent, supervisor and craftsmen in executing projects involving equipment installation, and maintenance / shutdown works on rotating equipment and loading arms. You should also have experience in developing working budgets and controlling costs. You will be responsible for overall coordination and control, while attending to clients’ technical queries as well as preparing and presenting commercial projects.
