Technical HSE Consultant

Position: TECHNICAL HSE CONSULTANT

The vacant positions below are to be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Responsibilities:
* You will be expected to be able to communicate effectively with senior technical and engineering management and project managers of both Shell and third party customers.
* You will organize and lead technical HSE reviews both in the office and at site, participate in developing/updating process engineering design guidelines and also assist in conducting HSE training
* There is substantial intercontinental travel, a high degree of flexibility is required to manage own activities.

Requirements:
* You should have 5-10 years process and hands-on operational experience in the Oil & Gas business, refinery/gas plant or upstream sector.
* Exposure in technical safety and process safety engineering will be required.
* Experience with leading or participating in formal HAZOPs is an advantage.
* Good knowledge in HSE Management System and HSE Auditing.
* Capability to work with a wide range of people from differing locations and work activities. Therefore, strong communication and reporting skills are highly desirable.
* Mandarin speakers are encouraged to apply.
