Crude Oil Trader

Our client, an established oil trading company, invites suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for this position.

Job vacancy: Crude Oil Trader (Singapore - CBD)
Responsibilities:
• Perform all trading functions for the trading of crude oil derivatives; futures and options, including managing the daily cash flow transactions and monthly asset allocation rebalancing
• Assist in the corporate risk management process
• Help optimize the corporation pricing portfolio
• Disseminate market information within the organization
• Take lead role in operational issues including trade settlements, pricing, etc

Requirements:
• At least a Degree in any discipline
• Minimum of 3 years of trading in options trading or futures
• Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to explain complex products in simple terms
• Proven analytical and quantitative skills
• Familiar with Excel, Access and different trading software platforms
• Able to work in a high pressure environment
• Able to multi-task
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong interest in financial markets
• Sound knowledge of physical crude fundamentals for China and the Asia Pacific region would be essential
• Preference will be given to traders with a successful track record trading financial crude oil or refined products using futures, swaps and/or options
• Willing to work in Singapore
