Job vacancy: Project Coordinator in Oil and Gas Industry

Our client is a leading multinational energy company and with its operations in more than 130 countries. Its businesses cover the entire oil and gas chain, from crude oil and natural gas exploration and production to the gas downstream, transportation, refining, petroleum product marketing, and international crude oil and product trading.

To support their business in Indonesia, currently they are looking for high caliber candidate to be posted as Project Coordinator.

Job vacancy: Project Coordinator (Jakarta Raya - Jakarta)
Responsibilities:
• To remain within the agreed budget, schedule for completion and statement of requirements
• Assist the Project Manager to ensure the compliance with Safety Objectives throughout the life of the project
• Prepare the contract/ purchase order plan in accordance with the project execution plan and negotiate contract/ purchase orders
• Monitor and control the contractors’ achievements in accordance with the contractual requirements in areas such as safety, technical requirements, cost, planning etc
• Assist the project manager to establish a team which is highly motivated and works diligently to meet the statement of the requirements
• Work supervision/ workload management for team
• Represent project regarding the specific contract or purchase order, protecting company’s interests and influencing decisions
• Interface with specialists externally and internally
• Keep informed the project manager of all events which may effect the successful completion of the project goals
• Ensure technology transfer and training of those junior staff supervised

Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Indonesia, English
• At least 15 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Jakarta.
• Applicants should be Indonesian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
• Preferably managers specializing in Engineering - Oil/Gas or equivalent.
