NPCC, The National Petroleum Construction Co. is a major EPC contractor for onshore and offshore oil, gas and petrochemical industry which has a new modern fabrication yard capable of producing 6,700 tons of fabricated steel structures per year and pipe-coating plants for coal, concrete, fusion bonded epoxy, polypropylene coatings. NPCC owns and operates an extensive marine fleet capable of lifting single structures weighing up to 2,000 tons and laying submarine pipelines up to 60 inches in diameter.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Higher National Certificate, or an ITI Certificate in Drafting.
• 8 year’s previous Drafting experience.
• Experienced and competent Computer Aided Design (CAD) operator.
• Thread connections and their representation.
• Cross section representation. Tolerances, systems, selection, representation.
• Welding symbols and their representation.
• Pressure vessels representation, schematics, cross sections, basic knowledge of descriptive geometry, bodies representation, solids intersections.
• Basic knowledge of metallic materials, their applications, basic welding properties.
• Basic knowledge of stress and strain, capability of performing basic sizing of axial and combined stress calculations.
• Knowledge of design and fabrication details related to pressure vessels elements.
• Basic knowledge of oil related facilities, piping layouts, P&ID’s reading and interpretation, electrical drawings reading and interpretation, etc.
