Supply & Distribution is at the heart of Shell’s Downstream business. We have the primary responsibility of managing the physical supply chain, which deals with the selection and acquisition of crude and feedstock for our refineries in Asia and Oceania right through to the delivery of products to our customers. Our goal is to deliver the right product to the right place on time and maximize the overall margin potential across the different lines of business.

Job position: Supply - Product Quality/ HSE advisor (Singapore - Central)

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the fuel product quality issues in Singapore in an integrated manner from the refinery gate (or supply source) through distribution to Retail and Commercial customers and beyond to the customer tank.
Responsible, as custodian for the Asia, Singapore and NME Product Quality Incident Reporting (PQIR) system and providing timely reports and submission to Group Product Management Group
Responsible for the data management of the GPC (Global Product) of Singapore
Represent the Singapore in the industry forum/NGO and national standard bodies on fuel quality, fuel applications, environmental and alternative fuel issues and to proactively influence the legislators of Singapore on fuel specification issues in order to meet local strategic objectives and aligned with Shell Global Fuels Strategy and HSE objectives
Responsible for providing technical support to Supply, Distribution, Retail and Commercial Fuel businesses in Singapore, and attend & provide technical input to the S & OP meeting
Responsible, with the support Lubes, to ensure adequate direct customer technical support to Retail and Commercial Fuels Businesses
Represent Singapore on fuels technical issues in marketing fuel initiatives projects and/or new fuel grade introduction and local interfaces with the following: Retail Marketing, Commercial Fuels Marketing/Business Development, Shell Global Solutions
Responsible for co-ordinating, monitoring and tracking of HSSE work plan for the Asia Envelope and Supply East
Provide (or seek expert help) advice and consultancy on HSSE issues to the line
Assist and carry out work assignment as directed by the Lead Fuels Technical Manager

Requirements:
You must have at least a degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering- other disciplines in science
You need to have at least 5-7 years of working experience. Your experience should include fuels or Lubes related experience in technical/commercial sales, product development, technical product management, laboratory operations, quality assurance methodology and in handling technical/quality related issues relevant to fuels or lubes products, its application & uses.
