International Power Mitsui Operations & Maintenance Indonesia (IPMOMI) a subsidiary of International Power Mitsui LLP, and a world leader in the development of co-generation and independent power plants, is assigned to manage, operate and maintain coal fired power plant located in Paiton, Probolinggo East Java, (Phase 1-unit 7 & 8), owned by PAITON ENERGY.

In relation with the future requirements which are due to development of the company operations, we are seeking qualified Indonesian professionals to fill the post of :

SHIFT SUPERVISOR

* Reporting to the Production Manager, this position provides first line management for a shift team engaged in the Paiton Units 7 & 8 coal fired generating facilities, monitoring and oversee a shift operating crew responsible to proper and safe plant operations. Also include safe maintenance activities like unit start up/down on line operation/monitoring and compliance with government regulation and company directives.
* The shift Supervisor will coordinate with PLN on system operational matters including load scheduling and conduct shift hand over meeting with other shift teams, working with Engineering and Maintenance groups to ensure defect, work orders, and outstanding jobs related to safety, availability and efficiency of the station, are appropriately identified, prioritized and acted upon in a timely manner.
* The candidate should have a University degree (S1) Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent with up to 5 years working experience in a large modern Power Station or similar industry; have good oral and written English communication skills. Detail knowledge of power plant operation at a larger capacity generating facility including troubleshooting, safety, overhauls, budgets and personnel training are highly preferred.
