Senior Exploration Geologist and Senior Reservoir Engineer

Senior Exploration Geologist

Duties & responsibilities of the position include:

* supervise and coordinate the geological activities on company operated an non-operated assets in Indonesia, Asia-Pacific region and internationally
* Be responsible for all geological interpretation work - including defining prospects & lead inventories and to define reserve calculations and economics on our Indonesian concessions and any new ventures.
* Define, specify and manage any geological projects
* Interface, when required, with various Indonesia regulatory bodies in order to submit reports and gain timely governmental approvals.
* The Senior Geologist is expected to be a "hand-on" person being involved in any sequence stratigraphy, geochemical, petrophysical or regional interpretation work
* Preparation & implementation of cost estimates, AFE's, Work Program & Budgets, technical and reserve economics reports
* Responsible for the day to day Geological requirements
* Interface with company and specialist third-parties specialists to ensure geological activities are consistent with company objectives

Senior Reservoir Engineer

Duties & responsibilities of the position include:

* Establish, supervise and coordinate all reservoir engineering related activities on company operated and non-operated assets in Indonesia, and when required, internationally
* Define, specify and manage any reservoir data acquisition campaign(s) during exploration drilling including well testing, logging, coring, etc.
* Interface, when required, with various Indonesia regulatory bodies in order to submit reports and gain timely governmental approvals.
* The Senior Reservoir Engineer is expected to be a "hand-on" person being involved in any reservoir characterisation, reserves calculations, economics, modelling and interpretation work
* preparation & implementation of cost estimates, AFE's, Work Program & Budgets, technical and reserve economics reports
* specify equipment & services, solicit tendering, evaluation, award & contracting of reservoir projects, in cooperation with companies team.
* Responsible for day to day Reservoir Economics requirements
* Interface with company and specialist third-parties to ensure reservoir activities are consistent with company objectives

The successful candidate(s) will:

* An Indonesian Citizen, domiciled in Jakarta
* Possess relevant B.Sc. or M. Sc. degree
* Demonstrate a minimum six years experience in a similar role
* Have a proven capability to work independently, under pressure
* Have well developed organization and operational skills
* Have proven strong verbal and written English communication skills

Block Exploration Team Lead

A leading global oil & gas producer is looking for a Block Exploration Team Lead to join their offshore oil production and gas conditioning projects involving wellhead & subsea platforms and pipelines and FPSO’s on permanent staff position based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Reporting to the Country Exploration Manager, you will be accountable for the day to day management of the Client’s specific exploration assets in Indonesia through working with a focused team of national and expatriate staff and consultants. You will be responsible for implementing the agreed exploration work programs for the their respective areas of accountability, which include direction and implementation of technical and operational programs, day to day management and mentoring of direct reports, technical QC, managing budgets, writing formal proposals and ensuring appropriate documentation and data management.

Open to Indonesian nationals at the moment, candidates should have a bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Geology with at least 15y proven experience in petroleum analysis, regional and detailed play and prospect assessment, and interdisciplinary training. Strong technical & team leadership in Exploration Management within Indonesia is most desirable.

With the following qualification :

· A degree (S1) in Geological or Mining Exploration from reputable university or institute
· A minimum 15 years of experience (Senior Level) in discovery and mine evaluation role in coal and mineral
· Experience in resources modeling, project progression, and RC Drilling Supervision.
· Experience in mineral exploration base on Valmin Code & Coal Exploration based on JORC is an advantage
· Certified Competence for Indonesian mining inspector (POU/POM/POP) & JORC certified would be an advantage
· Team oriented, Self motivated and ability to priorities work
· Strong Interpersonal & Communication Skills
· Able to effectively identified problem, gathering and analyzing the information
· Proficiency in MS Office, GIS, Mincom & Exploration Software
· Fluent in English both oral and written is a must
